The biggest reason to use SNOWRIGHT is the SAVINGS.

Investment in SNOWRIGHT will repay your principle usually in one season. Then you will continue to save an average of $1000 per acre annually.

If we had to give one answer to the average amount our resorts save, it would be $1000 per acre. Every year, however, each resort improves the way they operate due to information we provide and therefore, the average savings amount is still on the rise.

In the example shown below, they have 35% less snow and still have an average depth of 110cm. That's 35.3 million gallons less than 2014. In dollars, that is $176,667 in savings.

Over 145 snow-making acres, that is a savings of $1,218.39 per acre.

The above numbers are based on actual quantities measured on the mountain and do not reflect replenishing of snow that was used to top up for mid- winter melt or snow that wind may have blown off trail during production.

Machine wear and tear savings are on top of the above mentioned savings.

When you produce 35% less snow you are moving 35% less snow.

By placing snow correctly in place from the time it is blown, SNOWRIGHT eliminates the need to cover unforseen thin sports during mid- winter and end of winter melt conditions.

SNOWRIGHT custom models help operators to place extra snow in higher melt areas and where snow gets displaced from skiers right from the start, so pushing snow uphill can be reduced greatly and even eliminated.

The second biggest reason to use SNOWRIGHT is BETTER CONDITIONS AND LONGER SEASONS.

Using SNOWRIGHT, you will open sooner, no longer have mid- winter brown patches, have better overall conditions and stay open longer.

Examples of Client Success:

Osler Bluff Resort - Average snow depth this winter of 97 centimetres.

Osler Bluff is an extremely well managed resort, keeping their water usage to around 550, 000 USG per acre and still having fantastic skiing well into April every year.

Blue Mountain Resort - in 2017-2018 the first year using SNOWRIGHT, Blue Mountain had their longest season in history. In 2018-2019, they had an average snow depth of 1.12 metres and look how clean and consistent they are on April 17th.

Another important reason to use SNOWRIGHT is INDEPENDENCE.

SNOWRIGHT is independent of any groomer manufacturer, so it doesn't matter what brand of groomer you run or if you run a mixed fleet. We also provide multiple GPS system types as part of the initial groomer lineup so they can be used on survey rods and on summer equipment, allowing you to easily update your ground survey.

You may be totally happy with your current groomer manufacturer and know for a fact that you will neer purchase another manufacturer's product. However, what happens if your dealer suddenly sells and things change, or the competition just becomes a better choice?

This is important because the proprietary GPS systems sold through these manufacturers just don't integrate well. They often have different GPS messages, different radio types and the computer programs are totally different. Once you are fully equipt with one brand, you will be in serious trouble should you decide to change.

INDEPENDENCE also means being able to keep your own summer ground survey up to date.

Snow depth measuring is the calculation of the difference between the ground and the snow. It all depends on the ground model being accurate and up to date. What happens when all you have is a lidar survey and your GPS systems on your groomers are all hardwired in?

SNOWRIGHT ensures all clients are independent by providing multiple GPS system types as part of the initial groomer lineup. This allows our clients to move equipment between groomers, survey rods, and ridable summer equipment to easily update their ground survey.

The images below show (left) three different GPS systems on groomers: single head for quick switch and use off groomer, dual head with IMU for best results in narrow, wooded areas, and a fully portable head that can be put on a survey rod in minutes, and (right) operator using the groomer system to survey the excavation of the mini-putt after the season ends.
